These plastic clips are designed to have more spring pressure than the competitors steel clips while also being lighter. The clip pressure (squeeze) is important to getting the proper seal around the rectangular style air box. Our Walker airboxes use a soft polyurethane to create an air tight seal around the entire lid and base. These clips help squeeze them all together creating the proper seal.
